How to Make Citrus Pine Infused Vinegar Cleaner

This is a slow infusion method, so patience is part of the process.

What you need:

• Clean glass jars with lids

• Orange peels (fresh or dried)

• Lemon peels (fresh or dried)

• Fresh pine needles (rinsed and dried slightly)

Step-by-step method:

1. Prepare your ingredients

   • Wash citrus thoroughly to remove wax or residue

   • Rinse pine needles and allow them to dry slightly

2. Fill your jars

   • Add a layer of pine needles first

   • Add orange peels

   • Add lemon peels

   • Fill the jar about ¾ full with plant material

3. Add vinegar

   • Pour vinegar over everything until fully submerged

   • Ensure all plant material is covered to prevent mould

4. Seal and store

   • Close jars tightly

   • Store in a cool, dark place

5. Infuse for 7–8 weeks

   • Shake gently every few days if you remember

   • Let nature do the work as the oils slowly infuse into the vinegar

6. Strain and bottle

   • After 7–8 weeks, strain through a fine mesh or cheesecloth
